动物英语作文 篇1
My father loves to play birds. Today, he was on his back with a shotgun to go out. I wanted to dissuade my father, so I thought about it and called my father.
"Dad, do you go to the bird again?" I asked. "Yes." Dad promised not to lift his head. "Daddy, why don't you want to go to a bird? Birds have family, and they are all kindred. The parents of the birds must also love their children as much as you do with me. Why do we always have to kill them mercilessly? "
The father's expression seems to have feelings, so I also said: "Dad, as the saying goes, animal protection is everyone's responsibility, you know, the bird is a spiritual animal with a deposit, is the friend of mankind. Dad, don't hunt again, let the birds live happily in the places they like! So that they can often sing on the branches, bask in the sun, let birds into our lives, let us become good partners in bird life.
When Dad listened to me, he put down the shotgun gently. "Daughter, you are right. I should not hurt innocent lives for I like to play birds. I should let them live happily. It's good to have your teachings, or I'll be so blind to hurt these innocent lives... " My father and I looked at the birds in the tree and laughed.
When I returned to the room, I saw a pair of birds falling outside the windowsill and flying away together in the sun...
动物英语作文 篇2
The snake is a long and thin animal that lives in grass or other dark places.
A snake has no legs or feet, but it can move very fast on its stomach.
Snakes usually have green, yellow or black skins, which make them difficult for their enemies to find them.
Some kinds of snakes live in water. They can swim as freely as fish.
Snakes are cold-blooded animals. In winter they hibernatein holes which are narrow enough only to hold the snakes' bodies. The snakes can sleep through a whole winter without eating and moving. They can not feel any pain. The hibernation period lasts about five months. When spring comes, the snakes come out and begin their normal life.
Snakes can take many things as food, such as mice, sparrows, frogs, birds' eggs, pests and so on. People sometimes can see a snake eat a sparrow. First it moves close to the sparrow, then it puts out its tongue and brings the sparrow into its mouth and swallows it, which makes a lump in the snake's body. After some time the lump disappears.
As snakes are dreadful-looking, people are afraid of them. Many people drive them away whenever they see snakes. But in Chinese fairy tales, snakes are by no means bad. They seem to have human feelings. They can change into pretty girls. People like and respect them. The most well-known is the story about the White Snake and the Blue Snake.
In fact, snakes are not as dreadful as they look. They can help us to kill mice and pests. They can provide us with delicious meat. Their blood is a good drink. Poisonous snakes are especially useful. We can make valuable drugs with them.
动物英语作文 篇3
Once we decided to move, each day passed quickly. We started packing early but soon became very hurried as the moving day arrived. The most difficult task is always to decide what is absolutely necessary to move and what is not. After staying in one house for a number of years we had accumulated a lot of things. For sentimental reasons, it is always difficult to discard those things which mean so much to one's past. On the moving day everyone was hurrying around the house, and the children also ran around shouting and yelling; everything seemed like utmost confusion. The last minute items were packed quickly, and many other items were discarded. Slowly the moving van was filled. and we saw only empty rooms with open doors and windows. The home we had open doors and windows The home we had known so long seemed so strange. We felt no warmth. Laughter or cheer as we closed the door behind us.
动物英语作文 篇4
animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. hundreds more are on the danger list today. about 170 kinds in the united states alone are considered in danger.
why should people care? because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more.animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. they are more than just a source of food. every animal has its place in the balance of nature. destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. for example, when farmers killed large numbers of hawks, the farmers` stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. why? because hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly.
luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. and they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. quite a few countries have passed laws. these laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list. slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.
动物英语作文 篇5
The animal is the friend of our human beings. We live in the same earth. Animals and human beings can’t be separated from each other. But some animals are getting less and less. So it is necessary for us to protect animals, especially wild animals. Some people kill wild animal because of money. It’s illegal. Beside, because of the development of society, human needs more space to live in, so we explore the forest. Animals have less space to live in. The number of wild animals decreases year by year. It’s high time to take actions to protect wild animals.
动物英语作文 篇6
Nowadays, experimental usage of animal hasbecome a widely concerned issue around the world. People hold diverse views towards it.
Adversaries claim that it is an extremely crude behavior. Animals, especially mammals, like dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, which are the major victims in the experimentation, are usually human’spets. Pet owners are strongly against it for they firmly believe that animals suffer physically and mentally as we do. When equality is advocated in the modern world, it is inhuman to disrespect creatures that are not human beings.
Furthermore, a number of experts pointed out that it would be at high stake of depending on the results of animal experiment; since they differ from us in many ways. Take the body structure for example, we can’t imagine humans try to jump from the height of nine stories without any protection because cats survive out of the same test.
Those in favor of the idea about usage of animal declare that using animal is an advisable choice. On one hand because their bodies are similar in function to ours. For instance, they catch colds, suffer from stomachs and heart diseases, which more importantly influenced by diet and habits. The consequences of the test may not be applied to humans, although they are highly connected to the human situations. On the other hand, those creatures yell and act abnormally when they feel uncomfortable, which is what exactly researchers expect. In addition, there is an easy-to-answer question: isn’t it crueler to test directly on people with little knowledge on the objects’ effects? In a word, there is nothing better than animal that resemble human the best for experiment.
Personally, I am not a supporter of animal experiments, yet there is anything more suitable can replace them, I accept using animals for tests, but take good care of them when they are not in the laboratory.

动物英语作文 篇8
Animals were friends or foes of humanity at different stages of the human history. In modern times, experiments upon animals have been a breeding ground for spirited debate. Some animal rights activists argue that we should ban animal experiments altogether because subjecting animals to experimentation is unwarranted on moral grounds, whereas some other people contend that the advancement of science necessitates animal testing. Personally, I am in favor of the latter view.
Granted, mounting empirical evidence suggests that many animal experiments are performed callously without any heed to the discomfort or pain that laboratory mammals endure. For one thing, improper confinement of test animals such as locking them up in cramped cages is inhumane; and this, in turn, can severely disrupt natural biological functions of the test animal. For another, the effects of vaccination or vivisection conducted on live mammals can be chilling. In extreme cases, they constitute sheer torture of animals.
Nevertheless, from a more pragmatic standpoint, evidence abounds that animal subjects are still an indispensable part of scientific research at this phase of human development. In the first place, drug experimentation on live mammals is, indisputably, far more effectual than experimentation on bacteria or on other lower species in determining drug safety. Medical history informs that drugs that can potentially exert grave side effects on homo sapiens must be tested by pharmaceutical companies on live mammals first to ascertain their toxicity. In the second place, in the realm of space research, live animals are still practical alternatives on a flight not considered to be sufficiently safe for human astronauts. And I would be hard-pressed to imagine the scenario that human lives should be put at stake when the objective of a space mission is merely to identify living creatures reaction to outer space experience. Lastly, lab research about the behavioral tendencies of chimpanzees, gorillas or other members of the primate group is also a worthy endeavor, in light of the fact that it generates outcomes consistently advancing anthropological and genetic sciences.
